Greetings! I'm a 42 year old married father of two from the wilds of suburbia (aka New Jersey). I've been a wanna-be writer/critic for more years than I care to count and I've joined HubPages in the hopes that someone other than myself or my immediate family would finally read some of my blatherings.

I'm a longtime diehard heavy metal/hard rock fan that still listens to, and loves, the vintage sounds I grew up on. Some of my favorite bands include Judas Priest, Savatage, KISS, Megadeth, Stryper, Barren Cross, Metallica, Warrior Soul, Motorhead, Loudness, Deliverance, Jag Panzer, Iced Earth, Iron Maiden...well, I think you get the idea.

I'm also a devoted "B" movie/horror movie fan and a retired comic book geek. I love to talk/write about all of the above topics so I hope you all will enjoy sharing in my geeky obsessions, I'm having a blast writing about them!!

When I'm not writing about movies or music, I have also been known to do an occasional "Random Slice of Life" entry about whatever pops into my head.

In my short time on HubPages I've managed to rack up the following accolades, so I guess I must be doing something right:

My essay "Enter the Asylum: A Descent into B-Movie Hell" won a HubNugget award in June of 2011.

"My Nissan Cube Experience" was chosen as the Hub of the Day on Friday, September 9, 2011.
